Licensed asbestos removal.

Bonded and friable asbestos removal across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan. We hold both the A-Class (friable) and B-Class (non-friable) licences, so the whole job — roof, eaves, walls, fences, sheds, pipe lagging, or weathered material — stays with one team and one set of paperwork.

Every job ends with waste disposal receipts and, where required, a clearance certificate from a licensed assessor.

Asbestos removal — FAQs

What's the difference between bonded and friable asbestos? +
Bonded (non-friable) asbestos is locked into a solid material — cement sheeting, eaves, fences, vinyl tiles. It only releases fibres when cut, drilled, or broken. Friable asbestos crumbles under hand pressure — pipe lagging, sprayed insulation, weathered or fire-damaged sheeting. Friable work is higher-risk and needs an A-Class licence; bonded work needs B-Class. We hold both, so a job that turns out to be both stays with one team.
Do I need a licensed removalist, or can I do it myself? +
In Queensland an unlicensed person may only remove up to 10m² of bonded asbestos, and friable asbestos can never be removed without an A-Class licence. Even within the 10m² limit, DIY removal carries real exposure risk and you still have to transport and dispose of it as regulated waste. For anything beyond a small bonded patch, a licensed removalist is the safe and compliant choice.
What paperwork do I get? +
Every job runs to a site-specific Asbestos Control Plan, and finishes with waste disposal receipts from a licensed facility and — where the work requires it — a clearance certificate from a licensed assessor. That's the documentation councils, builders, and insurers ask to see.
How disruptive is removal? +
Most residential bonded jobs — a roof, a set of eaves, a shed — are done in a day or two. The work area is sealed and signed, materials are wetted and wrapped on site, and the area is left clean. We scope timing and access on the call so you know what to expect.
Do you remove and then make good? +
We remove and dispose. We don't re-sheet or re-roof, but we work in alongside builders and roofers regularly and can coordinate timing so your trades can start as soon as the clearance is issued. Tell us the follow-on work and we'll plan the handover.
